About the Author

S_Hara_black and whiteSusie Hara is the author of Finder of Lost Objects, a Lambda Literary Award Finalist and winner of a first-place International Latino Book Award. Her stories have appeared in several anthologies, including Stirring up a Storm and Best American Erotica. Her play Lost and Found in the Mission, written with Rowena Richie, won the Best Ensemble award in the 2008 San Francisco Fringe Festival. She has received fellowships from Millay Art Colony, Ragdale Foundation, and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She has worked as an office temp, proofreader, legal assistant, technical writer, exercise instructor, learning specialist, actor, and editor. An alumna of UC Riverside and of the MA program in Theatre at New York University, she lives in San Francisco.
